Founder & CEO
Gabriel Hammond is the Founder & CEO of Emles Advisors and serves as Portfolio Manager for the Emles Alpha Opportunities ETF (EOPS).
Prior to founding Emles, Mr. Hammond founded and served as CEO of Alerian, establishing the firm as the leading expert in energy infrastructure MLPs. Under his leadership, Alerian created the first real-time MLP index (AMZ), the Alerian MLP ETF (AMLP), developed options and futures based on the AMZ, and became the largest publisher of MLP research and data.
A serial entrepreneur, Mr. Hammond previously founded SteelPath, an MLP-focused fund manager that was acquired by OppenheimerFunds in 2012. He also co-founded Teton Energy and Pristine Power, both of which completed IPOs in Canada. Mr. Hammond holds a BS in Economics from Cornell University.
